Clothing Order Updates: Many of the clothing orders have been distributed and the outstanding orders will be distributed this week. Still waiting on the grey hooded sweatshirts, though those should be in soon.
UNIFORM UPDATE: The black long sleeved uniforms were on an extended back order so we have ordered the same exact long sleeve uniform shirt, but in the green and white. All uniforms should be in early next week.

COUGAR VOLLEYBALL CLUB
We're an off season competitive option for Kennedy and Kennedy-bound volleyball players (for girls and boys), which is sponsored by USA Volleyball and the Iowa Region.
CLUB CONTACT:
To contact club directors-- Coach Robin Fonck, Coach Lou Slings or Coach Michelle Goodall email us at cougarvbclub@yahoo.com
Cougar VBC Reffing & Scorekeeping Clinics:
When: Sunday January 8th, 2011; 1-4pm (Reffing from 1-215pm and Scorekeeping from 230-4pm)
Where: Kennedy High School Cafeteria (drop off at the NORTH end...not the SOUTH end this time)
What: Both reffing and scorekeeping clinics will be offered on Sunday, & every coach & every player needs to attend both clinics. If you have an individual conflict, you must communicate that with your head coach. At the clinics, we will discuss all major rule changes and go over signals, protocol, scorekeeping and then discuss and correct the exams.
Note to the parents of new club kids: At first, you and your child will feel complete overwhelmed by this all. Please understand, that for our youngest kids, we do not expect them to understand and perfect their scorekeeping and reffing skills at this clinic. These are complicated at first, and we understand. We will work together over the next months to help each child better understand. Please, no stress. :] If they can at least read through the exams...even if they do not know any of the answers, it will help familiarize them with the words we will be using. In addition to the clinic, our coaches will give the kids practice opportunities to learn these skills in both practices and with help at our leagues and tournaments. So, again....no worries. We do NOT expect proficiency at the start.
Reffing Clinic:
1-215pm in the Kennedy Cafeteria. (North Doors will open at 12:45pm).
Scorekeeping Clinic:
2:30pm-4pm. Immediately following the Reffing Clinic.
What to bring to the clinics:
- Your whistle (every coach and player should have a whistle this season. Please bring yours to your clinic, and get in the practice of bringing it to every volleyball practice, tournament/league, etc) In this cold and flu season, no one really likes to share whistles. (if you need to purchase them...I've seen them at Target, Dicks, WalMart, etc).
- Pencil with eraser
- Pen
- Your personal or your team's or small group's answers to the exams. I've attached both exams here for your reference.
See you all Sunday, January 8th from 1-4pm.
